I’m not a PC

I keep seeing these adverts on TV for Microsoft, and they confuse me ever so slightly.  They seem to imply that divisions have been drawn and a stand has to be made.  The PC thing isn’t what confuses me, it’s that it’s an advert for Microsoft.  What happens to those that are “PC” but are in fact, Linux?  So all that advert does is tell me that these people use PC’s and not Mac’s… it doesn’t tell me they use Windows.

Also, the statement by one woman saying she’s connected to hundreds of thousands of people world wide, could be interpreted that people who use Mac’s are not… hmmm, I may not have the largest connection of friends but there’s little my Mac can’t do that a PC can.

So if battle lines have been drawn, then I’m going to put my hand up and say “I’m a Mac”.  I’m not a designer, I’m not an arty type, I don’t do photography, but I love my Mac.

Neverwhere

Have decided to read Neverwhere, the totally fantastic book by Neil Gaiman, again.  I’d totally forgotten the plot, just remember it being really rather cool that it was set below the streets of London, or “London below” as it’s called in the book.  I’m really enjoying it… again!  I shall post more about it when I’ve finished reading it. :o )

That is all.

Pup is ok

Well the good news is that the Pup didn’t need to stay in the Vets for an operation, turns out whatever was stuck in her paw had expelled itself, not before the poor little thing had an abscess there.  So she had a huge injection of antibiotics and has to have tablets twice a day for the next seven days.  She was very well behaved which makes a change.

So needless to say she had a big treat when she got home.  Bless!
