Look at what kids today get, High School Musical, we got angsty teenagers that spent time in detention, stole vintage Ferrari's, bunked off school, made hot women out of computers and had to deal with bullies. It was a shame he wasn't part of the film world, but I found out recently that it was because John Candy died, and he blamed Hollywood for robbing him of his friend. The guy really seemed to care about what he was doing and who his audience was. I think for anyone that’s in their thirties then John Hughes probably had a huge influence on their lives. I grew up with John Hughes movies. He helped me when I got stuck. Not sure what I would say is my favourite; either "Some kind of wonderful" or maybe "She's having a baby".
